After six months, Dancefloor festival has closed the balance of its forth edition with numbers pointing to the socio-economic growth of the city of Leiria, totalling over 150.000 Euros in earnings for the region.
After several internationally acclaimed artists such as Carnage, Blasterjaxx, Noisecontrollers, Vendark, Kevu, Will Sparks, Zatox, Vinai e Nicky Romero stepped on the stage of the biggest dance floor in the country, at the municipal stadium Dr. Magalhães de Pessoa on the 27th and 28th of July, the organization confirms the true impact of the event both nationally and internationally.
The numbers of the festival show that, of the fifteen thousand visitors, over 80% came from outside the city of Leiria, from places such as Porto, Lisbon, Coimbra and Aveiro, and that 33,5% came from countries such as France, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel and Germany.
Festival-goers occupied almost 1.400 tents of the Pedrogão Camping Park and the region’s hotels averaged a 97% occupation tax on both the city of Leiria and its surroundings, accomodating the high number of invitees, organizers, influencers as well as many others who purposely came to experience two days of pure fun in the central region.
The festival also attracted a total of 90% of external funding to the region, from several French investors and businessmen. The event’s communication gathered over 190.000€ in campaigns both below and above the line.
In 2019, the organization promises EDM and Hardstyle fans to promote a fifth edition with an equally inescapable line-up.
